Our ingredients are carefully selected and we keep a tight feedback loop with the international suppliers and farms we work with. The majority of our grain is malted in Germany, supplemented by oats and other British specialty malts sourced directly from the UK.
We work closely with farms in Germany, the US and New Zealand to guarantee we have the highest quality hops. We build direct relationships and make visits to select the very best hops to deliver bright, fresh hop flavors and aromas.
Temperature fluctuations, oxygen, ultraviolet light, mistreatment: all of these are especially destructive to the pale hoppy beers we love so much. We measure oxygen throughout all critical brewing processes and make sure it’s at the lowest possible levels. We also decided early on to package our beers in cans and kegs only. Both containers are 100% light proof and airtight so no oxygen can get in. After packaging, our hoppy beers are kept cold at all times to make sure they stay delicious and fresh.
We have selected our brewing equipment to allow us to focus on improving and innovating our beers. We let the machines do the heavy labor and continually monitor the most important parameters throughout the brewing and packaging process.
Innovations in brewing science allow us to refine our techniques to produce beers that are fresher and better with each subsequent batch. Iteration is the key to refinement and excellence and we strive to improve our beer every time we brew.
A nod to beer history
We love pushing the boundaries with modern beer styles, but we are also fascinated by traditional brewing techniques and the roots of crisp German lagers. Find out more about our lager beer portfolio, which we are particularly proud of.
